 Eagle Eye Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and elegant with firm approachable tannins. In the nose is that dark cherry and ripe raspberry, the signature of the Rutherford terroir. That first sip will fill your mouth with ripe red fruit, dark chocolate and a savory spice enhanced by toasty oak overtones. The long lingering finish is characteristic of the famed terroirs from which it comes.This is the debut of Limited Edition. This distinctive blend is comprised of grapes from four Napa Valley terroirs. The core Cabernet Sauvignon is from the world class Rutherford Bench, enhanced with Malbec from Los Cerezas - D'Ambrosia vineyards in Yountville, Cabernet Franc from the up and coming AlphaWOLF Ranch in Gordon Valley and finished with Howell Mountain Merlot from White Cottage Ranch vineyards. The 2005 harvest provided us with extended hangtime which is showcased in this wonderful wine. |
